You will lead your shift, work hands-on in the production process and ensure that quality, safety and planning are all in order. What do you get in return? Description

As a Hands-on Shift Supervisor, you are the first point of contact for your team. You bring structure, maintain oversight and know exactly when to intervene. You motivate your colleagues, think ahead and are always happy to roll up your sleeves.

Your work is varied and practical. Among other things, you will be responsible for:

• Leading and motivating: you manage the printers in your team on a daily basis and ensure effective collaboration.
• Working in the print room: you help set up, operate and change over the printing presses.
• Monitoring quality and planning: you keep track of production progress and make adjustments where necessary.
• Solving problems: you identify faults and deviations and look for practical solutions.
• Developing colleagues: you support new employees, share your knowledge and help your team grow.
• Working safely and efficiently: you create a positive working atmosphere where safety, quality and results are central.
• Improving together: you coordinate with the other shift supervisors and actively contribute ideas for smarter work processes and better results.

You will work with modern Uteco 650 and 800 printing presses in a 3-shift system. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that production continues day and night.

Who are you?You are a leader who sets the right example. You are visible on the shop floor, communicate clearly and know how to bring people along in a positive way. Even when things get busy, you keep a cool head and know what the priorities are.

You combine a practical approach with technical insight and believe it is important for everyone in the team to do their work well and enjoyably.

Requirements

• Mbo-level working and thinking ability;
• At least 2 years' experience in a supervisory or team-leading role within a production environment;
• Technical insight and an affinity with production processes;
• A quality- and results-driven approach;
• Strong communication skills and the ability to make decisions;
• Experience with flexographic printing? Then you will have an advantage!
