Work Planner

A production process only runs smoothly when the preparation is right. You make sure drawings, work orders and schedules are in order, so your colleagues in production know what needs to be done. We are looking for a Work Planner with technical insight and an understanding of production. You will work closely with colleagues in the office and in production, take responsibility and have plenty of opportunity to contribute ideas about how work is carried out. You will be employed directly by the client.

Description

As a Production Planner, you are involved in preparing and planning a range of production orders. You make sure the right information is available and that tasks are properly coordinated.

Your duties will include:

• Creating and preparing work orders
• Creating and developing technical drawings in SolidWorks 2D
• Preparing and planning production orders
• Processing data and administration in the ERP system
• Monitoring progress and quality
• Identifying bottlenecks and contributing ideas for improvements

You will work closely with colleagues in the planning office, production and the warehouse. This means you will be closely involved in the actual production process and able to respond quickly whenever needed.

There is plenty of scope for your own input. You will take responsibility for your own work and be actively encouraged to contribute ideas on how processes can be made smarter, more efficient or better.

Requirements

• Vocational secondary education and working level in a technical field
• Technical understanding and an affinity with metalworking
• You work accurately and are able to maintain a good overview
• You can work independently and communicate well with colleagues
• You have a good command of Dutch, both spoken and written
• Experience with SolidWorks 2D
• Experience with an ERP system is an advantage

• €3.200 to €4.000 gross per month, depending on experience
• Employment conditions in accordance with the Metal & Technology collective labour agreement
• 25 holiday days and 13 ADV days
• Full-time position, 32 hours is open to discussion

About the client

You will join an organisation where technology and craftsmanship come together every day. A team of around 15 colleagues manufactures various types of sheet metal products for customers in the construction, vehicle building, interior construction and agricultural sectors, among others.

Over the past few years, the organisation has built a strong position in sheet metal processing and continues to develop. Modern machines and techniques are used, but the knowledge and experience of its people remain just as important.

You will work in an environment with short lines of communication. Office and production colleagues work closely together and can easily find one another. This means you can immediately see the result of your work preparation.

The atmosphere is down-to-earth and friendly. Work is taken seriously, but there is also room for informal interactions. You will be given trust and responsibility, with the opportunity to continue developing within the organisation.
