Service Engineer

Are you technically skilled and would you rather fix a fault than stand in the same place all day? We are looking for a Service Engineer for a technical company with a close-knit team. You will work at different locations on electronic access control systems. One day you carry out maintenance, the next you solve a fault or help a customer with a new system. You often work independently, but you are never on your own. Knowledge is shared within the team, ideas are exchanged and you can always rely on experienced colleagues. A great role for someone interested in technology, who enjoys being on the move and likes to see visible results from their work. You will be employed directly by the client.

Description

As a Service Engineer, you ensure that electronic access control systems continue to function properly. You visit various companies and institutions, which means your work is very varied.

You will be involved in:

• Maintaining and inspecting existing systems;
• Troubleshooting faults;
• Installing and commissioning new systems;
• Guiding customers in using the systems;
• Thinking along about technical solutions when the situation requires it.

You work both independently and with colleagues. Sometimes you know exactly what you will be doing in advance, other times a fault requires more problem-solving. It is this variety that makes the job interesting.

Requirements

For this role, we are looking for someone who:

• Has technical insight and enjoys solving problems;
• Is interested in electrical and installation technology;
• Works accurately and solution-oriented;
• Communicates well with customers and colleagues;
• Can work both independently and as part of a team;
• Holds a driving licence B;
• Has a good command of the Dutch language;
• Is VCA certified or willing to obtain this.

A completed technical MBO qualification level 3 or 4 is a plus, but above all your technical insight and attitude are important.

• A gross monthly salary of € 2,750 to € 3,500 based on 40 hours, depending on knowledge and experience;
