Sheet Metal Worker (metal/insulation/industry)

Are you skilled with metal and able to create custom work from a drawing? Or do you want to learn the trade at an international family business with plenty of opportunities for growth? Then we are looking for you!

Description

As a sheet metal worker, you are the specialist in processing and handling metal sheets. You work daily with cutting, bending, punching, slicing and welding – all based on technical drawings. You work accurately because you deal with customised work. You check whether the final product meets the required specifications and standards. In addition, you keep your workspace tidy and clean, and you report any malfunctions in machines and tools.

Requirements

• Spatial and technical insight — you can work from a drawing;
• A relevant education or experience, or the willingness to build this up;
• You hold a VCA certificate or are willing to obtain one;
• You are physically fit, precise and enjoy working in a team;
• You are looking for a long-term challenge with real opportunities for growth.

• A good salary according to the Metal Collective Labour Agreement depending on experience, with a minimum of €15.75 gross per hour rising to €22.24 excluding ATV;

• The opportunity to obtain relevant courses/certificates through our own academy, allowing you to further develop your skills.

About the client

You will be working for an international family business with locations in Emmen, Delfzijl, Hengelo and Meppen (Germany). The company specialises in thermal and acoustic insulation, scaffolding, tracing and fire-resistant penetrations. Due to growth in their order portfolio, they are looking for motivated colleagues to strengthen the team. The organisation has a friendly atmosphere with plenty of room for personal development through their own academy.
