(Working) Team Leader Printing Press

Description

Your challenge As a Working Team Leader on the printing department at IG Design Group, you are the key player within your team. You provide structure, oversight and a pleasant collaboration, while actively participating in the production process yourself. Thanks to your coaching leadership, technical insight and results-driven approach, production runs smoothly and quality targets are met.

You will work in a modern production environment using Uteco 650 and 800 printing presses within a 3-shift system. No day is the same in this varied role. You are responsible for both the daily management of your team and achieving efficient production. Your tasks include:

• Leading the printers in your team on a daily basis;
• Actively assisting with setting up, operating and converting the printing presses;
• Monitoring progress, quality, safety and planning during your shift;
• Identifying and resolving malfunctions and deviations in the production process;
• Training, guiding and coaching (new) employees;
• Ensuring a pleasant, safe and results-oriented working atmosphere;
• Working closely with other team leaders for an optimal 24-hour production process;
• Actively contributing to improvements in processes, quality and efficiency.

Requirements

You are someone who stands your ground and leads naturally. You are visibly present on the shop floor, communicate clearly and know how to get people on board. You keep an overview, set priorities and stay calm when the pressure rises. You combine technical knowledge with a practical approach and naturally lead by example.

In addition, you have:

• Vocational education level (MBO);
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a production environment;
• Technical insight and knowledge of production processes;
• A quality- and results-oriented work attitude;
• Good communication skills and a natural persuasiveness;
• The ability to prioritise and make decisions;
• Experience with flexographic printing is a plus.

• A gross full-time monthly salary between € 3,190 and € 3,802;
• 23% shift allowance (on top of the mentioned monthly salary);
