Construction | Construction Assistant

For a client in Groningen, we are looking for a construction assistant who supports the tradespeople and ensures everything runs smoothly on the building site. No experience is needed, but a good attitude is essential!

Description

As a construction assistant, you are the essential link on the building site. You hand over materials and tools, mask and cover surfaces, and deliver and collect materials. You also keep the site tidy and organised and lend a hand wherever needed. It is practical and physical work with plenty of variety, where you work alongside experienced professionals and learn the trade naturally. No day is the same, giving you a lot of variety in your tasks.

Requirements

• Experience in construction is a plus, but not required
• You are physically fit and like to get stuck in
• You are reliable, punctual and eager to learn
• You work well in a team;
• You have a good command of the Dutch language
• You hold a category B driving licence.

What we offer

• A salary in line with the CAO Bouw & Infra, between € 15.77 and € 18.95 gross per hour, depending on age and experience;

• Payment on a weekly or 4-weekly basis;
• Opportunities to obtain certificates and training (such as VCA);
• Work within a committed and down-to-earth team with prospects for a permanent contract.
