Description

As a Traffic Management Technician / Skilled Operative, you and your colleagues are responsible for safely and efficiently installing, maintaining and removing temporary traffic management measures in the Drenthe and Groningen regions. You translate traffic management plans into practical solutions and make sure traffic continues to flow smoothly and safely during works and diversions. With your knowledge and experience, you make a direct contribution to road safety.

An average working day starts at the depot, where you and your co-driver receive the necessary materials and instructions. You then travel to various projects in the region. You install signs, barriers and diversions in accordance with the applicable guidelines. You work with modern materials and have plenty of contact with colleagues and clients. Flexibility is important, as no two days are the same and you may sometimes work outside regular hours.

Requirements

• At least an mbo-level vocational education and working knowledge
• In possession of a Category B driving licence and your own transport
• Category C1/E driving licence with Code 95
• BRL9101 certified
• Several years’ experience with temporary traffic management measures
• Knowledge of the civil engineering and infrastructure sector
• A strong sense of responsibility and commitment to safety
• Flexible and willing to work irregular hours
• Good teamwork skills and a committed attitude

What we offer

• Salary between € 2.800 and € 3.600 gross per month (based on 40 hours)
• Allowances for irregular working hours and overtime (35%-200%)
• Travel allowance of € 0,25 per km
• Pension accrual through Nationale-Nederlanden (half of the contribution paid by the employer)
