Pipe fitter
In Hoogeveen, we are looking for a pipe fitter who would like to work at a small-scale company in the gas industry. You will be at the start of the process and ensure that pipes are made to size and bonded by reading a drawing. You work in a small team, which means you have short lines of communication with your colleagues. It is important that you can work very accurately, as this is precision work. Ultimately, the process results in the construction of a gas station.

- Salary based on experience between €2700,- and €3500,- gross per month (function group 5 from the Collective Labour Agreement for the Metal and Engineering Industry) with CAO wage increases in 2025;

Job description
You will be working at a workshop in Hoogeveen. Preferably, you have knowledge of TIG welding, as it involves very precise work. The whole process of making a gas station starts with you. There is a stock of piping in the workshop, which you take to your own workplace. Using a drawing, you make the pipes to size, after which they go to the welder.
You are someone who can read a construction drawing and make pipelines to size and join them together by welding. You will set flanges, bends and other pipe components and ensure the desired dimensions, squareness and parallelism.
You work neatly and accurately, because every millimetre counts. If a pipe is not the right size, the welder cannot weld it correctly. In that case, you receive feedback and make sure it is fixed. An eye for detail is therefore very important! As you will be working a lot with metal, it is important that you are physically fit. The constructions vary in size, so the work is varied.
The company has two locations in Hoogeveen with a total of about 30 employees in the field and in the workshop. You will work in a workshop where you will collaborate with seven other experienced colleagues. They will teach you the tricks of the trade so that you can then work independently. There is an informal atmosphere where there is time for fun as well as hard work.

- You are in possession of VCA or willing to get it;
- You can read and understand construction drawings;
- You have knowledge of TIG welding;
- You are self-reliant and a real doer.
