First Mechanic Silo

Job Description

As a First Mechanic, you will work closely with the Second Mechanic, whom you will teach the tricks of the trade. Together you will form a team and be responsible for the maintenance and installation of technical parts. Your work consists of cleaning silos, replacing filters and performing simple assembly work. You are proactive in this and can work independently.

This position offers a lot of variety, every day you will work in a different location and sometimes you will stay in one place for several days to get the job done for compensation. In addition, you will learn a lot about the various aspects of technical installations.

What do we ask of you?

• You have an MBO in the technical field;
• You have an affinity for electrical engineering;
• You are willing to work breakdown shifts;
• You don’t mind traveling internationally where you sometimes work in the “boarders” (Belgium or Germany);
• You have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
• You have a driver’s license B (E);
• You possess VCA, manhole guard, working at height, hoisting license or are willing to obtain it.
