Exotics Control Officer

Job Description
As an exotic species control employee, you will deal with invasive plant species, especially Japanese knotweed. You do this with the RootWave: a sustainable method in which plants are treated electrically via root contact. You will work together with an experienced colleague at various locations in the north and east of the Netherlands. Before you start, you follow a short practical course so that you are well prepared for the job.
What do we offer you?
- A gross hourly wage between €14.40 and €16.00, depending on experience;
- A temporary job in the outdoors with social impact;
- A professional practice course through Dark Green for starters;
- Travel reimbursement of €0.23 per kilometer;
- Payout on a weekly or 4-weekly basis.
What do we ask of you?
- You enjoy working outside, regardless of the weather;
- You are available from week 33 until the end of the growing season;
- You can work well together and are physically fit;
- You have a driver’s license B (preferred);
- You are motivated and learn new techniques quickly.
